Janie Custer earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Vanguard University and is currently working towards her M.A. in Teaching with a focus on Special Education, along with a teaching credential at Western Governors University. Janie brings a wealth of experience working with children, including roles as a one-on-one assistant in church childcare, a preschool teacher, and a nanny. She served as a substitute at Pathway during part of the 2023-2024 school year, where she developed a deep affection for the students and the learning environment, leading her to continue her career there for the 2024-2025 school year. In her free time, Janie enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
