Pathway School is seeking a lead teacher, under the immediate supervision of the School Director and as a member of the school staff, that shall provide appropriate instruction and guidance to students assigned to him/her consistent with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. The spiritual life of a Pathway Teacher should be dynamic and encouraging to those with whom they work. Their daily life should be that of a Christian role model. Pathway School lead teachers play a vital role in maintaining a positive, healthy, learning and teaching environment in which students can flourish.
Bachelor’s degree required. Current teaching credential required, education specialist credential preferred but not mandatory. Teaching experience is preferred, although successful completion of a student-teaching program will be accepted with above average recommendations from supervisors or other professionals who have observed the teacher’s personal characteristics, scholastic, attainment and classroom performance.
